We welcome all actors ages 12-99. If you turn 12 during the run, you may audition. There will only be a limited number of positions available for children under 18. Preference may be given to children with parents who are also selected, but it is not required.February 28th slots available from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm
March 1st slots available from 9:30am to 12:30 pm
Come prepared to audition with an approximately one-minute-long Broadway style song. This show will feature songs that give a "summer vibe," so you may want to keep that in mind when choosing your audition piece. You will need to come prepared with a backing track. You can usually find them on YouTube by searching for the name of the song and karaoke.
No prior performance experience required.
The show will consist of solos, small group numbers, and ensemble numbers.
Rehearsals will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting on March 4th. There will be mandatory rehearsals Mon-Wed the week of the show. No rehearsals will be mandatory during Spring Break. If you have a conflict, please note it below. We work hard to minimize rehearsal time and thus expect everyone to be there on their assigned dates, prepared to rehearse. You will only be required to attend rehearsal scheduled for the numbers you are in. Each actor will be expected to practice their numbers at home. The week of the show is mandatory.
We strive to create a fun, low-stress audition experience because we have all stood on the other side of the table and know what it's like. No audition is ever a wasted experience. Casting decisions are made based on multiple factors, so never count yourself out!
