AUDITIONS FOR WISHing-An Animated Night on Broadway will be held Dec 3rd and 4th
We are excited for our 2026 production of Wishing: An Animated Night on Broadway. This show will contain music from many of your favorite animated classics, plus some bonuses. This form contains all the information needed for auditions, rehearsals, and performances, so please read thoroughly.
Auditions
Auditions will be held in-person at Salem Elementary (140 W 100 S, Salem) Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4 from 6pm-9pm. You will be prompted to select an audition time slot later in this form. Please prepare 1 minute of a Disney, Broadway, or other animated number. We will be building our set list from the songs you audition with. Please come prepared with a backing track for your audition. No accompanist will be provided.
All auditioners will be invited to attend callbacks on Saturday December 6 from 9am-1pm. Specific callback sides will be assigned and announced on Friday, December 5.
The cast list will be posted by Sunday, December 7.
All cast members should plan to attend the first cast meeting on Monday, December 8 for critical information about rehearsals, performances, and costumes, as well as other expectations.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals will be held at Mt. Loafer Elementary in the gym beginning on Tuesday, January 6. Rehearsals will typically be held Tuesday-Friday from 6:30pm-9:30pm, with occasional Saturdays. Cast members are only expected to attend the rehearsals they are called for and the time slots specified
All rehearsals are required starting on February 10.

Performances
Performances will be held at the Salem Hills High School on Friday, February 20, Saturday, February 21, and Monday, February 23 at 7pm. Cast members are expected to arrive for sound checks and other show preparations by 6pm a the latest.
Cast members will receive 2 comp tickets for this show.
Casting Note
We will be casting children as young as 5. Children under 10 are required to have a parent/guardian/trusted adult with them at all rehearsals.
